Your colleauges are in prison and your enemy's in rage

I've been quiet here lately, but it's because I've been active at my drafting table. The 3 big projects continue, and a bunch of side projects are hitchhiking on my deadline train as well. I'm very happy to be helping out on a few cool causes, but I look forward to several of my responsibilities ending next month. ;)

I've decided that 2 is the optimum number of projects for me to do at once.

Hi Tally! I have been following your blog for a while now. I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you.

I initially followed after one of the sketch series you posted caught my eye--I really dig your style. I draw a little. Not well--more of the writing persuasion myself--and not nearly with the same dedication or experience you have. It is refreshing to see the intuitive and simple style of your drawings rolling through my blogroll. The world seems to prefer over-done graphics Photoshopped out the yinyang, and it's nice to see actual drawing.

Anyway, what really prompted this comment was haphazardly clicking on your oldest archives (in search of some kind of "here's how I stay focused, sit still, and make my personal projects happen" how-to) and stumbled across your comic "A Room of One's One." It came to me at the right time. Thanks hon. Keep up the good work.

P.S. - Cool Blue Reason is the song that calms me when everything stops making sense. It's one of about three songs I can actually recall in times like that, because I know it will bring me back somewhere closer to the ground.
