I heard, I heard, what you gonna do?

God, I love Parks and Rec. I rewatched one of my favorite exchanges today, a deleted scene from the episode 'Kaboom':

Marlene: "You cut through the red tape? Honey, don't you know why red tape was invented? To cover your ass. Red tape is our pants."
Leslie: "Mom, I went rogue. I went cowboy. Now I have to find a way to go reverse-cowboy."
Marlene: "Leslie, please. You don't even know what that means. What are you trying to say?"

Leslie: "I built a playground in a day. A day. It was like your stories of cocaine."
Marlene: "Leslie, those were different times. Everyone in government was doing cocaine. It was like Snapple."

Today I find myself strangely free of artistic duties, so I think I will draw me some Between Gears. :)

Made me see there was something missing

Two new pieces of fan art this week, both for Ron Swanson from NBC's Parks and Recreation! I'm rewatching season 2 and doing fan art for my favorite quotes as I find the time. You can see the fan art I did for the show last spring in this gallery. Stay tuned for more! Donna's up next~!! 8-D

If you aren't watching this show, there might be something wrong with you. Make sure to tune in to NBC on January 20 at 9:30 for the season 3 premiere!

The stories would excite me

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I have been waiting so long to watch these episodes again.

Ego side story: when you search Google Images for "Tom Haverford", "Ron Swanson", or "April Ludgate", you get my fan art. <3 This pleases me. You can bet there will be new fan art after rewatching season 2. I remember there was a Tammy drawing for "I'd rather be Cleopatra" that I never finished...

I'm walking on sunshine

I had SOOOOOOO much fun in Seattle at ECCC this weekend! I will decompress and post in more detail on it later, but basically it was a great show, the people I hung out with made it really fun, and I am already excited to go back next year.

Also, another Parks and Recreation portrait for April!
