Out of Place chapter 6 is shaping up nicely---all that's left is toning, lettering, and some final effects, but I hope to finish by tomorrow and have the next month and a half of updates done early. Then it's AROO, and I am going to try my darnedest to get excited about it!
School is hard. D: Why do I have to know the 4 functions of management or the 5 characteristics of successful goal making? I know the 3 steps to apply eyeshadow correctly, so I think I'm good (/half sarcastic).
LOST, The Office, 30 Rock, and The Soup. My Wednesday-Friday is a happy, happy time. :) If you watch LOST: Dan and Richard are my favorite characters, so you can imagine how much I enjoyed that last episode! *A*

New video
New video on Youtube: 10 minutes of me inking an Out of Place panel. I described it, "It's slightly more interesting than watching paint dry", but if you're into inking, then I hope you'll like it :P
There should be another video up tomorrow or later this weekend of the next panel on the page; I learned from the first video and have a better angle, lighting, and higher resolution. Finishing Out of Place chapter 6 is going well--just 2 more pages to pencil, 3 to ink, 4 to edit. :>
EDIT: Oh yeah! My business environments teacher made sure to mention today that he is enjoying The United States Constitution, and can he have it for another week? xD D'aw, I love when people get excited about reading. <3

Updates
ROFL. So true!!! xD Oh Jennie Breeden, how did you get so cool?
Laziness aside, I did update Out of Place yesterday, and there is a page already uploaded for next Monday. :) My plan is to finish chapter 6 as soon as possible, post the cover for chapter 7, and go on hiatus to focus on proposals during the spring... >__>
I lent my business environments (read: business law) professor The United States Constitution last Tuesday, and I'm hoping he brings it to class today with his reactions.

Etsy
I have a new online store for minicomics, prints, and originals: Tallychyck.Etsy.com. Someday I will have prints. :P
I've decided to exhibit at thePortland Stumptown Comics Fest this April 18-19, barring some problem with registration. I'm really excited! I've never exhibited before at a con, and this one is particularly fun. <3 Plus, now that I have a few things to display and sell (including This Is A Souvenir, out February 18!!!), I can justify the registration fee and the trip home. :D
I've been dying to update Random Production, but I can't until I finish installing Dreamweaver (my old software uninstalled itself when I got Antivirus, and I needed an upgrade anyway). I used the trial version before buying, and there's a horrible error in the programing that makes it impossible to instal the real version after that without tech support. It looks like that could be resolved early this week though, so I'm getting antsy to get to work on a new homepage. Old homepage is old...

New Room!
I has a room!!! :D And I put pictures up on Flickr~
There are also pictures on Flickr of my new burn...I'm really upset about it. :( It's on my left forearm, and it's pretty prominent. I really hope it fades completely, but it's very dark...any suggestions for helping it not scar?

Lookbook.nu
Any fashion nuts out there? Artists looking for reference? Look no further! Lookbook.nu is a fashion site heavily populated by teens eager to upload photos so you can see their latest outfits. The site screens for members with innovative style and an understanding of photography, and everything has a pretty high production value. The best part about the site, though, is that there are thousands of photos in their archives, and dozens of new ones every day (but beware: the homepage is coded to add more photos to your browser every time you approach the bottom, so cut yourself off eventually!). If you're looking for a new way to wear your menswear vest, or need an outfit for a stylish character, this place is heaven!
In other news, I'm back to the Eug today for winter term. This will be my first term in the sorority where I get my own room (so excited!! I may or may not have bought a hot pink bedset in celebration...), and I'll be taking my drafting table back to school for the first time. Everybody say, "Yay, ergonomics!" :D

Oh Nine!
Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were awesome and you got to spend them with friends. My winter break has been very mellow; the snow before Christmas pretty much threw a wrench in all of my plans, but playing in the snow with friends and lazing around at home with family was actually a nice break after the stress of fall term. I went to Sunriver with the family for a few days after Christmas, had the perfect ski day on Mt. Bachelor, and enjoyed my first drink in an American bar with my mom. Kind of sweet and pathetic at the same time, right? :P The snow melted enough by the time I was back in Portland that I could see my out-of-neighborhood friends on New Year's, which was nice. A friend of a friend was house-sitting for an opera singer, who had the craziest mansion in the hills. It was like she tried to pack as many priceless articles as possible onto all surface areas of the house. It was a miracle that nothing irreplaceable broke.
So yes! Welcome to the year of Obama! :) I must say, the election night was probably the highlight of 2008 for me. My friend Mary has told me to watch Obama since probably 2004?, and it was very dramatic and exciting watching his journey through the election. I found some pics from his rally at the UO, which is a fond memory of mine from last spring.
Our signature team signal works eerily well.
Even Jesus Man is voting Obama :D
Yeah boy!! Ahh, good times. 19 days!!
In other news, this. I don't even know. Japan is my anti-drug.
And one more thing: this set of recorded songs. They're not exactly mine to share, so I hope my friend Ted won't mind, but they were too great to not pass on. So talented, right?! It makes me feel guilty...I have a veritable family band between my brothers Neil (drums), Nick (guitar), and myself (piano/voice), but I have a feeling we're just not cut out for recording. :P
I do have art for you, but I'm have to go get it from upstairs before I can scan...*lazy*...check back later!
