I'm moving past the feeling

With my Oni and Lerner books done and Between Gears released, it's time to focus on Over the Surface! I updated that project's blog yesterday.

I LOVED that movie. Do yourself a favor and go see it in theaters, then buy every song Cecile Corbel made for the movie. They are GORGEOUS. I have been listening to a mix of them all week as a writing soundtrack. My favorite right now is 'My First Borrowing' (Disney seems to be pretty on top of blocking uploads at the moment, or I would link it).

The Cave's first party was on Friday, and it was wicked. Check out my friends Morgan and Ally's sweet costumes above--Hedwig and a Golden Snitch!

Simplest party drink recipe ever:
Electric Lemonade - 1 fifth of vodka, 10 crappy beers, 2 cans of pink lemonade concentrate. Mix and enjoy! (carefully, as it is extremely delicious and extremely alcoholic)

And a great non-alcoholic recipe (AHEM, under 21ers):
Butterbeer - 1 cup club soda or cream soda, 1/2 cup butterscotch syrup, 1/2 tablespoon butter. Measure butterscotch and butter into a 16 oz. glass. Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely melted. Stir and cool for 30 seconds. Slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit. Serve!

Blog Every Day April: 26

Last night was my friend Lauren's 21st birthday party (fake) rave. It was SO fun! Black lights and lollipops galore. :P

My roommate Emily is a master of all that is hair and makeup, and she made my hair do this for the party!!!!

I should wear it like that all the time, right??!

Today is Russian Revolution paper day. Joy! But when that is done, the hard part of my term is over. Goal is to do 75% of it today, 25% tomorrow. Ganbarimasu~!!! *A* Rock concert at the hippie commune tonight, so I have to work hard to earn a night off!
