Well, this project was inked with ...Thanks, drumz!<br /><br />Well, this project was inked with a Windsor & Newton brush, but I used a Pentel pocket brush pen for Between Gears and for most of my illustrations.<br />Regardless of tools, to get the cleanest line possible, try a paper with a heavy weight and not very much texture. I use 300 series Bristol with a 'plate' finish. Other than that, just keep your paper clean, wash your hands before you sit down to work, and erase as little as possible before and during inking (it roughs up the paper and contributes significantly to bleeding). I've got a question for you, if you don't mind - I use a pentel pocket brush pen as well, and I'm finding that no matter what paper I use the ink tends to bleed a lot.
