I wish a falling star could fall forever

Terry Blas's awesome comic Briar Hollow updated on Sunday with a piece of fan art I did for Sam.

Also, I scanned in the Copic marker Wonder Woman I made as a warm-up for WWD (it turns out it is okay to donate, though it is a nonstandard size, so it will be a part of that auction in October).

Yeah it's alright it's just a matter of time 'till I find my feet

Hey guys!

I created a profile on Comic Art Fans as a long-term database for my comic pages and selling them. If you are ever curious about buying a page from a project of mine, this site is the place to start. I've also listed some illustrations, though those are, in general, more likely to be posted on Etsy first. The only things not up on CAF right now are Between Gears, Julie Christie!, and pre-2008 projects.

This new venue for selling pages is a part of a push I'm trying to make to sell off my original art and raise money. I am moving out of my parents' house next month and I could really use a lighter load and a little cash in my pocket. Times are tough and I don't expect anything, but there are pages for as little as $10, so do check it out if you can.

☆☆☆I will also be accepting 5 discounted commissions!☆☆☆
  • 9"x12"
  • BW or with some grayscale Copic marker tones/shading
  • any character
  • bust or full-body
  • limited/abstract background
  • $30 (normally $50!)
1. Kevin M.
2. Bob D.
3. Jackson H.
4. Lincoln H.
5. Softestbullet

E-mail me or comment here to claim a spot. First come, first served. :D

All you do is fill me up with doubt

I have easily listened to this song 100 times in the last 48 hours. Somehow, magically, it never gets old.

I'm still working on a Wonder Woman Day piece, character designs for several projects, and Between Gears. I started work at the zoo last week, and didn't draw at all Monday through Friday, but I hope to force at least an hour each day after work this week. Things are adding up quickly and could get very tight next month. I also found a place to live and will move in September 4th, and I still need to find a day job. Busy, busy, busy!

I'll be bulletproof

It's that time again, guys - time to get ready for Wonder Woman Day! Andy Mangels has sent out the call for art donations, and I hope that those of you who draw will consider making a piece for the auction. I participated last year and am excited to do it again. This time, I may actually be able to go to the Portland events. :P

This short video from last year sums up the charity:

Get my coat and make it snappy

Another illustration:

I heart Batgirl: Year One. Marcos Martin draws an awesome Batgirl.

I'm working on my inking and experimenting with spot blacks. Thus the butt hatching and such.

Do you have a library card? Guess whose minicomics you can now check out!

I'm so happy about this. The icing on the cake is that the library came up with better plot summaries than I ever did. New plan is to get as many of my minis into the library system as possible and use their summaries as my pitches from now on.
